Hello, welcome to Little Learners Learn! I'm thrilled that you are interested in our tutoring services for your child. You've made a wise choice to invest in your child's future. Can I be honest? If you continue to rely solely on the education system for support, you might find yourself waiting indefinitely.
My own parents invested in a tutor who happened to be my 3rd and 4th-grade teacher. She became a role model for me during my childhood. School was challenging for me, especially during the transition from lower to upper elementary grades, but I didn't let that hinder my dream of becoming a teacher. I strived to achieve good grades like my siblings.
Despite facing difficulties, I persevered and managed to graduate from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Public Health with a focus on Health Education and Promotion. Although my dad initially pushed me towards a Nursing degree for financial reasons, I pursued my true passion.
After graduation, I worked hard to secure a job in the Public Health field, but I found myself unsatisfied. It was then that I attended a school district job fair and discovered a new path (but this was the path God gave me before I was born). Later, when I realized that this was home, I pursued my master's degree in teaching with a focus on elementary education. Throughout my journey as a teacher, I acquired my Gifted Endorsement to educate gifted students.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I came across Little Learners Learn. I was intrigued and started planning to begin, but I didn't actually execute the plan until November 2023.
